No. A commercial license is not mandatory, but if you use Mantra for work in an organization, we encourage you to purchase one to keep Mantra independent and 100% user-supported.
Does my data stay local?
Yes. Core features work 100% offline. Sync and Publish use end-to-end encryption — we cannot read your data.
What is BYOK?
Bring Your Own Key. Use your own OpenAI, Anthropic, or other API keys. Keys never leave your device.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Sync/Publish support a 7-day refund. Pioneer/Commercial licenses support a 14-day refund.
